What days and times do you schedule installations?Back At Countertops & Cabinets, Inc. we try our best to work around your schedule with regard to scheduling installations, but in order to keep our cost of installation low, we must adhere to a policy of scheduling installs between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. A representative from CounterTops & Cabinets, Inc. will call you to schedule a date and time for your installation once your counter top has been fabricated. Our installation crew will be scheduled to arrive within either of the following time blocks: 8 AM – 12 PM and 1 PM – 4 PM. We at Countertops & Cabinets, Inc. strive to adhere within these time frames; however installation times may be affected due to unforeseen problems with installations from the previous day. While these circumstances are rare, it is our company policy to notify the homeowners that such a situation may occur and we ask that you please reserve and plan to be present for the ENTIRE Day of counter top installation, unless you grant permission to our installation crew to perform work in your absence. We at CounterTops & Cabinets, Inc. are a fully accredited and insured business that has been providing and installing high quality counter tops to the Central New York community for the past 30 years. In rare instances, we may be able to schedule installations on Saturdays.

At the same time, we also strive to keep firm control of our fabrication/ installation schedule to avoid such delays. In the end, you will be pleased with our work and your beautiful kitchen will be well worth the wait.

What do I need to do and what can I expect when my counter tops and / or cabinets are installed? Back To ensure that you receive the highest quality installation and to reduce the possibility of any additional charges and/or delays, the following requirements must be met for measurements and installations as specified: * Countertops should be cleared and sinks empty. Sink base cabinets should be completely cleared out. We will remove top drawers in cabinets. * Sinks, faucets, garbage disposals and gas stove / cook tops must be disconnected and removed prior to installation unless previously discussed and explicitly stated in customer contract. Please Note: CounterTops & Cabinets, Inc. certified installers are neither plumbers nor electricians. Please make sure a qualified person is performing these tasks or Counter Tops & Cabinets, Inc. Can coordinate a plumber for you for your convenience. * Cook tops, dishwashers, drop-in sinks and faucets must be at job site at time of install. Please Note: There will be an additional charge for return trips to cut faucet holes or attach dishwashers @ $50.00 per hour including travel time, with a one hour minimum. Counter Tops & Cabinets, Inc. strives to minimize the mess and level of inconvenience to the homeowner. Therefore, dust collectors, vacuums, tarps and various other items are used to protect cabinets, flooring, and other areas of the home. On occasion, we ask for access to the garage in order to complete some of the "messy" work outside of the home. This minimizes dust and reduces the chance of accidents. For all of the precautions that we do take, because this is a construction project, homeowners should expect an element of dust in the house. We recommend waiting until the final installation is complete before doing any type of thorough cleaning.
